Welcome To Elodie Now’s Website

Almost FRESH out of the oven

Cover of new steamy romcom Elodie Now # My Christmas Wish List single dad dog best friend's brother

A kid calling me Dad. My sister’s best friend crashing in to help like this is a romcom. (And yeah, pinning said sister’s best friend to the nearest wall would absolutely get me on the naughty list.) This Christmas is a disaster waiting to happen.

One minute I’m a Grinch divorce lawyer avoiding Christmas like it’s a contested prenup clause, the next, there’s a twelve-year-old girl on my doorstep claiming I’m her dad. With her cat annoying my beagle, and an annotated list of holiday movies I’m apparently contractually obligated to watch. And then? My little sister’s best friend moves in to help.

The former wedding planner. She looks like every bad decision I’ve always wanted to make, and nearly did that night after that Christmas party.

I’ve spent my career proving happily-ever-afters don’t exist.

This Christmas, I might have to object to my own evidence.

Meet The Raccoon aka The Author: Elodie Now

Hi, it’s me, Elodie Now, writing this in the third person while Bobbie Voltaire the Cat lets me know he’s starving by trying to eat a piece of plastic. (There we go. Spat it out. We’re fine.) Ahem. Where was I —

Elodie Now writes steamy small-town romantic comedies, including the Love in Swans Cove series… think Hallmark movies with the door flung wide open. She loves grumpy book boyfriends, stubborn heroines, banter that bites and makes her laugh, and happily-ever-afters. Her books also come with a certain umber of pets: a scene-stealing donkey named Cookie, an assortment of dogs and cats, and one emotional support pickle named Dickle (it’s a long story, and no, she will not be taking questions. Actually, she will.). She lives in Belgium with her husband and the aforementioned plastic-enthusiast cat. For her YA, non-fiction, and podcast (where, yes, she has a French accent), head on over to elodienowodazkij.com.

Okay … Bobbie has jumped on the desk in protest.

So, that’s the bio. (Going to go feed him.) <3 E.
